Hello, My name is Selina. I was born in Seoul, Korea and moved to the states with my family when I was twelve. I grew up in San Francisco, Bay Area. I’ve always had an interest in art growing up and studied Graphic Design in Southern California and decided to move back to Bay Area after finishing school. I’ve worked at Korea Central Daily newspaper as an Advertising Designer and currently working for Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Publishing Manager. I’m currently living in Oakland, CA with my family (a husband, two boys, ages 10 and 8) and working from my home office. I have a great passion for design and cooking. This blog is a space for me to explore, brainstorm and share my creative thinking process. I love to design, drink coffee and design some more. Welcome.
HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE NAME ‘SKYCREATIVES’?
SKYCreatives is a business name that I came up as I was graduating from design school. SKY comes from initials from three different people whom I lived with and spent many sleepless nights doing design projects. We don’t live or work together anymore but I decided to keep the name. I love any image or artifacts that come out of this name. Like the saying ‘SKY is the limit’, so is creativity.
